About The Position

Valley Medical Group is looking for an Custodial Coordinator to join our Facilities team and support all four centers (Easthampton, Northampton, Amherst and Greenfield). If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity! This position reports directly to the Facilities Manager and is responsible for assigning and supervising the daily activities of Custodians of all VMG locations. The Custodial Coordinator will also be responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling of all Custodians, as well as inventory control.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 5 years working as a Custodian
3 years of Management/ Supervisor experience
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Must possess basic math and reading/writing skills.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
Must be skilled in the use of a personal computer and various software programs.

Responsibilities

Assign and supervise the daily activities of Custodians of all VMG locations.
Hire, train, and schedule all Custodians.
Perform inventory control.
