About The Position

The position of Curriculum Manager fills an essential space beneath the Senior Curriculum Manager to assist in the planning, organization, evaluation, and management of basic science and clerkship operations. In addition to policies and procedures, this position will interact directly with high level administrators, department chairs, faculty, staff, students, and representatives to ensure the smooth functioning of both existing and new courses and clerkships. The position will also participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives within the School, and have accountability for pertinent functions related to evaluation and assessment. This position requires the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities while maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders both within and outside the core team. This is an expanded role that serves as a point-of-contact for clinical faculty, medical students, and administrative professionals for all aspects of the undergraduate medical education (UME) program. Updates and posts Canvas course information in UNLV Webcampus and MedHub, curriculum management system. This includes: schedules, syllabi, lectures, presentations materials, and other relevant course materials and supplemental materials. Assists with course evaluations, exams, and proctoring. Maintains and compiles program evaluation reports and meets with course and clerkship directors to improve learning tools and changes to future iterations of clerkships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
  • Related work experience in higher education environment.
