About The Position

The Learning Experience is seeking a passionate, motivated, and experienced Curriculum Director to champion educational excellence and inspire our teaching team in Kings Park! At TLE, our Curriculum Directors are ambassadors of happiness, supporting educators, strengthening classroom experiences, and ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. In partnership with the Center Director, you'll help create a joyful, safe, and high-performing learning environment where teachers feel supported, families feel connected, and children are excited to learn. Requirements

At least one year of center leadership experience required
Must possess the applicable New York State administrative or director credentials and meet all state-specific requirements for the role
Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of educational quality
Must meet all applicable background screening, health, and safety training requirements

Nice To Haves

two or more years of center leadership, curriculum management, and people leadership experience highly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field highly preferred
Strong knowledge of early childhood education, curriculum implementation, and developmentally appropriate practices
Working knowledge of New York State childcare licensing regulations and compliance requirements
Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing teachers preferred
Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
A passion for supporting children's development and empowering educators
Ability to build positive relationships with staff, families, and center leadership

Responsibilities

Partner with the Center Director to support daily center operations and maintain a high-quality educational program
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention efforts to build a strong, well-trained teaching team
Coach, mentor, and empower teachers to deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
Conduct and document monthly staff development meetings using TLE-provided resources
Provide ongoing feedback, guidance, and accountability to support teacher growth and performance
Conduct formal classroom observations monthly and provide actionable feedback to strengthen instructional quality
Address staff and family concerns promptly, professionally, and with a solutions-oriented approach
Champion the implementation of TLE's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® across classrooms
Ensure curriculum delivery and classroom practices align with TLE brand standards and educational expectations
Support teachers in planning engaging, hands-on learning experiences that meet children's developmental needs
Monitor the quality of teacher-child interactions and promote positive, nurturing classroom environments
Ensure student assessments are completed accurately and on time during each assessment period
Coordinate and facilitate family conferences at least twice per year
Ensure teachers effectively utilize parent communication tools to keep families informed and engaged
Support consistent, high-quality learning experiences across all classrooms
Partner with center leadership to support marketing, enrollment, and family retention initiatives
Help create a welcoming, engaging experience for prospective and current families
Support consistent family communication and meaningful parent engagement
Encourage regular social media engagement through engaging classroom photos and captions
Support initiatives that promote positive customer reviews and family satisfaction
Help implement TLE brand initiatives that strengthen community connections and family engagement
Uphold all applicable health, safety, childcare licensing, and regulatory requirements
Promote consistent supervision practices and compliance with children's individual medical and dietary needs
Maintain an organized, clean, safe, and tour-ready center environment
Monitor classroom supplies and inventory, ensuring materials are replenished within budget
Partner with the Center Director to support center budget goals and responsible resource management
Take initiative, solve problems, and make thoughtful decisions that support educators, families, and center operations
