About The Position

The Curated Experience Director (CXD) is a key role responsible for supporting the campus curated experience strategy, executing a variety of events, and managing all aspects of Marketing, Communications, and Engagement. This individual will work closely with the Culinary Team to manage all physical, digital, and region-wide marketing and communication touchpoints. The CXD will lead and inspire a diverse team to deliver exceptional experiences for guests, clients, and colleagues, while partnering with Catering, Facilities, and Front of House service streams. A close collaboration with the client’s internal Events team is also expected for managerial and event-related support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent of three years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in event planning and hospitality.
  • Experience in all aspects of event planning and vendor sourcing/management.
  • Experience managing employees.
  • Demonstrates experience using computer software.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Google Docs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization.
  • Ability to create and build positive and productive relationships.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects at once with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, editing, proofreading, and grammar skills.
  • Experience working with a team and collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Must be capable of working independently and taking initiative on projects.
  • Track record of effectively managing and delivering against multiple projects simultaneously in a very fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to solve problems using quantitative analysis.
  • Understand customer service and satisfaction.
  • Understand reporting systems and the environment; comfort with managing large scale budget.

Responsibilities

  • Support the campus curated experience strategy.
  • Execute a variety of events such as service celebrations, concerts, wellness events, multi-cultural events, and recognition programs.
  • Manage all aspects of Marketing, Communications, and Engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Culinary Team on marketing and communication touchpoints.
  • Lead, inspire, and support a diverse team in delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Partner and collaborate with Catering, Facilities, and Front of House service streams.
  • Provide managerial and event-related support to the client’s internal Events team.
  • Set standards and accountability measures around sanitation.
  • Develop team members through constructive feedback and personal development plans.
  • Build professional relationships with clients and department stakeholders.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure quality levels.
  • Attend seminars, workshops, and conferences to improve job knowledge (pre-approval required).
  • Deliver consistent quality in planning and execution of VIP and complex events, pop-up events, and vendors.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve curated experience revenue forecasts.
  • Develop and manage all aspects of the curated experience budget, reviewing financial reports and taking corrective actions.
  • Strategize alignment of curated experiences/events and all aspects of marketing and communications across all regional offices.
  • Build awareness of products, programs, and activities that support strategy, generate demand, and enhance customer experience.
  • Oversee the Marketing Coordinator in all aspects of digital signage and menu displays across 4 regional offices.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in developing promotions that support the ISS Guckenheimer brand.
  • Incorporate client branding across all client-facing marketing collateral and communications.
