About The Position

Responsible for the accurate and efficient packaging of divisional Retail/Cup product. In event of absence, position will be filled by adequately trained personnel. Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must adhere to all corporate GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and all Food Safety policies including “Clean as you go” program.
  • Must adhere to all Allergen control programs and procedures as applicable.
  • If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere to approved HACCP plan(s).
  • 100% adherence to all company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures); no deviations.
  • Ability through training and appropriate time in the position; to run, adjust, breakdown and reassemble appropriate job specific processing/packaging equipment.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Responsibilities

  • The accurate and efficient handling, labeling and packaging of divisional Retail product.
  • The ability to handle the accelerated process flow of the Pack-out process.
  • Must adhere to all corporate GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and all Food Safety policies including “Clean as you go” program.
  • Must adhere to all Allergen control programs and procedures as applicable.
  • Responsible for reporting suspicious packages, activities and individuals.
  • If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere to approved HACCP plan(s).
  • Label verification & line clearance between batches.
  • 100% adherence to all company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures); no deviations.
  • Ability through training and appropriate time in the position; to run, adjust, breakdown and reassemble appropriate job specific processing/packaging equipment.
  • Update Supervisor on any hindrances to successfully performing your position.
  • Immediately notify your Supervisor of any recognized issues/failures while performing your position.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
