About The Position

Logan Simpson is seeking a regular full-time Cultural Resources Project Manager to join their award-winning, multidisciplinary consulting firm. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse, collaborative, and innovative team, expand skillsets, and bring new ideas to the table. The position is based out of the Flagstaff, AZ office and operates on a hybrid remote schedule. Logan Simpson, founded in 1990, is comprised of over 150 professionals across six western US offices, specializing in environmental planning, cultural resource management, community planning, and landscape architecture. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred) in Anthropology or a related field.
  • 6+ years of cultural resources management (CRM) experience, including 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • 2+ years of archaeology experience in the American Southwest.
  • Sufficient experience to be listed on one or more archaeological permits in Arizona.
  • Knowledge about Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and digital literacy skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a positive team-oriented setting.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in the office 3 days per week on average, as applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with energy transmission, distribution, and generation projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and managing all phases of cultural resources projects including survey, archaeological monitoring, testing and data recovery.
  • Interacting with clients and land managers.
  • Producing technical reports.
  • Preparing scopes of work and cost estimates.
  • Meeting project scope, schedule, and budget obligations.
  • Conducting quality control/quality assurance reviews of field data and reports.
  • Conducting local fieldwork as needed.
