About The Position

Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for Temporary Cultivation Techs to help with a cannabis garden in the Amesbury, Massachusetts, area. The assignment starts in late January and for workers who meet or exceed performance expectations, this position could convert to a permanent opportunity! Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing is the Original staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry. As a Cultivation Tech, you will be focused on assisting Head Growers and Assistant Growers with a variety of tasks with the cannabis plants in an indoor grow environment. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to manicuring, monitoring, pruning, watering, planting, trimming, cleanliness and efficiency of production area. You may also get the opportunity to learn how to apply nutrients and pest management methodologies. You must have the ability to wear a N95 mask while around cannabis product and be around plant pollen for an 8-hour period of time.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older (Massachusetts State Law)
Must be eligible to work for a licensed cannabis company in the State of Massachusetts
Reliable transportation
Ability to arrive on time
Ability to stand, sit, kneel, twist AND lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to take direction
Growth mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
Ability to be around plant materials up to 8 hours
At least two professional references able to speak to your great work ethic
