This role involves managing day-to-day actions of cultivation staff and processes, with primary responsibilities in Flower, IPM, and Fertigation. The Cultivation Supervisor serves as a role model and resource for cultivation staff, delegates tasks, and coordinates with the Cultivation Manager to ensure accurate communication and execution of the cultivation calendar.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of plant cultivation and cultivation facility operations.
  • Two years of experience in a position with supervisory/managerial responsibilities with demonstrated experience managing agents and operations.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy in word processing, point-of-sale systems, and data base management.
  • Knowledge of medical cannabis policy and law.
  • Proficiency in windows-based software and point of sale applications.
  • Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
  • Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.
  • Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for current or future sponsorship at any time.

Responsibilities

  • Managing day to day actions of cultivation staff teams and cultivation processes.
  • Overseeing cultivation tasks and processes, ensuring proper documentation of all applicable activities in accordance with the State and standards set by Cresco Labs.
  • Coordinating and ensuring that the cultivation calendar is being executed according to the plan laid out by the Cultivation Manager and Facility Director.
  • Ensuring plant health by pruning, defoliating, and analyzing plant health according to Cresco Labs policy, as well as any other tasks required.
  • Coordinating necessary pest management practices with the IPM team to ensure that all plants are entering the flower houses disease free and healthy.
  • Relaying pertinent information concerning plant health, scheduling, and cultivation staff to the Cultivation Manager in a timely fashion.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of accurate records for all cultivation activities including employee records, inventory records, crop application records, harvest data collection in accordance with the State and standards set by Cresco Labs.
  • Monitoring and adjusting employee hours and schedules as dictated by the Cultivation Manager and Facility Director.
  • Ensuring that all leads maintain compliant plant inventory within their respective areas.
