About The Position

This is a full-time Culinary Services Manager position at Astoria Senior Living, an Agemark Senior Living community. The role focuses on providing a memorable dining experience for residents, building relationships with families and staff, and ensuring residents can eat what they want, when they want. The position involves hosting social events, mentoring dining staff, and actively participating in meal preparation. A key aspect is leading by example and embodying the company's values of professionalism, commitment, integrity, and compassion. The role also requires a good driving record as a company car will be used.

Responsibilities

Provide a memorable dining experience for residents.
Build relationships with family members, residents, and staff.
Ensure residents can eat what they want – when they want.
Host social events for residents.
Mentor, coach, and train dining staff.
Lead by example and participate in daily tasks.
Cook and prepare meals at least 4 days per week.
Maintain a good driving record for company car use.
