About The Position

The Culinary Services Aide interacts with residents while serving meals and providing an engaging dining experience that meets individual residents’ preferences. The role is with Benedictine Living Community – La Crosse and offers part-time evening hours from 4:15 PM to 7:00 PM. The position is suited to friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic people who enjoy working with others and helping create positive dining experiences for residents. Nice To Haves

Food service experience is preferred.
Previous customer service, hospitality, or food service experience is preferred.
Experience in barista or coffee shop services, restaurant hosting, serving or bussing, retail sales or cashiering, customer or guest relations, fast food or quick-service restaurants, dietary services or food preparation, hospitality or catering, grocery stores or delis, community service, or volunteer work.

Responsibilities

Provide a welcoming atmosphere in dining areas for residents.
Adhere to food safety and dietary guidelines based on residents’ needs.
Operate, clean, and sanitize kitchen and cafeteria equipment.
Perform general cleaning and dishwashing.
Participate actively in culinary trainings.
Serve meals and provide an engaging dining experience that accommodates residents’ preferences.
