About The Position
Round Lake Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and passionate Server to join their growing team. This role is crucial in assisting residents to 'Age Magnificently' within a beautiful 120-unit, apartment-style community offering Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. As a Culinary Assistant/Server, you will become part of the family, impacting residents' lives by assisting in the preparation, distribution, and supply of food and dishes, while fostering an environment that promotes resident well-being.
Requirements
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
- Must possess advanced computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set up room trays and tables in the dining room.
- Serve and bus trays.
- Pour and cover beverages.
- Assist in preparing and covering food.
- Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
- Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
- Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
- Soak, scrub, scrape, and wash soiled dishes.
