About The Position

Our Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management programs provide hands-on learning experiences in state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring students gain the skills they need to thrive in the industry. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Culinary Lab Tech to support our culinary program by maintaining an efficient and safe kitchen environment for students and staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to lift and move equipment or supplies (up to 50 lbs.).
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and able to adapt to the needs of a dynamic learning environment.

Nice To Haves

• culinary or hospitality experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the culinary lab for classes, including setting up equipment, supplies and food carts.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the lab, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Monitor and inventory supplies, including ingredients, tools, and small wares; assist with ordering as needed.
• Support instructors by shopping for needed ingredients.
• Ensure equipment is properly stored, maintained, and ready for use; report repairs or replacements as needed.
• Adhere to and enforce food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with special events or additional duties as assigned.
• Maintain all receipts and invoices.
