About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Culinary Intern to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for a current culinary student looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment. The intern will assist with food preparation, learn kitchen operations, and develop foundational culinary skills under the guidance of experienced chefs.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a culinary arts program or recent graduate
  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
  • Strong interest in food and culinary arts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and accept feedback
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
  • Support chefs in cooking and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines
  • Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing deliveries
  • Participate in prep for events, services, and special menus
  • Learn proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
