About The Position

At our historic inn, we believe the guest experience goes far beyond a good night's sleep. From the first bite of breakfast to a surprise plate of truffles, our food is a massive part of the memories our guests take home. We are looking for a Culinary & Events Specialist to take ownership of our kitchen and support our upcoming food-centric events. If you love cooking, have a knack for the special details, and want a dynamic kitchen environment, this is the role for you!

Requirements

• Solid, proven experience in cooking and food prep.
• Ability to handle the heat and know your way around a kitchen.
• Enjoy the "service" aspect of making sure guests love what you've prepared.
• Willing and able to work unusual or flexible hours to help prepare food and drinks for special occasions.
• Must reside in the U.S.
• Must be fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Making and serving a fantastic breakfast that starts our guests' day off perfectly.
• Keeping the kitchen running smoothly by ensuring the pantry is fully stocked, organized, and prepped for success every day.
• Curating special "romance packages"—preparing decadent fudge, truffles, and other romantic touches for our guests' arrivals.
• Assisting in prepping and executing special food and drink menus for daytime events such as Mother’s Day brunches and themed gatherings.
