About The Position

Summary: The Culinary Coordinator supports staffing, scheduling, and administrative operations for the Culinary department. This role reports to both the Sr. Executive Chef and the Exec Sous Chef and works closely with department managers and Human Resources, to ensure coverage and compliance for event and non-event days. The Culinary Coordinator is responsible for coordinating employee schedules, monitoring attendance and timekeeping, supporting onboarding, and ensuring compliance with company policies, and labor agreements.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during event day
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to move between office, kitchen, warehouse, and event locations
  • Ability to use standard office equipment including computers, printers, and phones
  • Ability to work in both office and event-based environments, including exposure to noise, crowds, and varying temperatures
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar administrative or staffing role
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets and Smartsheets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Reliable, professional, and discreet with confidential information

Responsibilities

  • Distribute and track monthly staff availability for upcoming schedules
  • Prepare, update, and distribute weekly schedules in collaboration with departments
  • Maintain schedules in MyStaff and update as needed
  • Verify and ensure timesheets are completed before pay period close
  • Monitor staff hours to prevent unauthorized overtime
  • Track attendance and timeclock compliance
  • Support Concessions, Culinary, and Banquets with administrative needs when needed
  • Update Catering BEO boards as required
  • Monitor late or revised orders and communicate changes to leadership
  • Print and maintain kitchen, event, and compliance documentation
  • Order and manage office supplies within budget guidelines if necessary
  • Attend meetings and perform additional duties as assigned by Department Heads
  • Performs other duties as assigned
