About The Position

We are looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community at Meadow Woods Assisted Living in Bloomington, MN. This nutrition services schedule includes; Casual/On-call schedule, Day/Evening shift, and Weekends as needed. Meadow Woods Assisted Living, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus is located in East Bloomington, near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs. Managed by Ebenezer, we offer 137 units between our Skilled Nursing, Memory Care and Transitional Care. We have an outstanding team of tenured staff. The only thing missing is YOU! Responsibilities

Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:
Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.
Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:
Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
