About The Position

The Culinary Assistant supports onsite and offsite culinary operations in partnership with the Culinary Lead and Culinary & Events AHSM, helping deliver exceptional food quality, seamless operations, and outstanding guest experiences.

Requirements

• At least one year of culinary experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-quality culinary environment.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal direction.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills in English.
• Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to travel occasionally to other company locations.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positively represent TWE with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and properly store food deliveries.
• Maintain guest service and culinary standards.
• Ensure all food production meets TWE and Sterling standards.
• Support onsite and offsite event execution.
• Conduct daily tastings to maintain quality.
• Model professionalism and positive team behaviors.
• Open and close the kitchen; maintain security of property and room keys.
• Follow all TWE Zero Harm, Health & Safety, and training requirements.
• Partner with maintenance to ensure guest-facing spaces, equipment, and facilities are well presented.
• Comply with food service regulations.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Culinary Manager and DoH.
