About The Position

Harrison Bay Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community in Mound, Minnesota, is seeking a Culinary Assistant/Server to support residents in its memory care, assisted living, and independent living community. The role helps create a positive dining experience and contributes to residents’ quality of life. The position pays $16.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience. A $500 sign-on bonus is available to part-time hires only; on-call hires do not qualify. Schedules are part-time morning shifts (6:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.), part-time evening shifts (4:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m.), or on-call.

Requirements

Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a senior living setting.

Responsibilities

Set up room trays and dining-room tables.
Serve and bus trays.
Pour and cover beverages.
Assist in preparing and covering food.
Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays when applicable.
Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
Soak, scrub, scrape, and wash soiled dishes.
