About The Position

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to measure and mix cleaning agents and chemicals.
- Good motor skills and manual dexterity required for preparing food items, serving trays, handling soiled dishes, operating dietary equipment, and cleaning work areas.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate changes due to culture change implementations.
Nice To Haves
- Food Service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Be a collaborative member of the dietary team to provide excellent food service delivery to residents and patients.
- Understand and follow dietary extensions, dietary orders/restrictions, and food consistencies according to tray cards and work assignments.
- Engage with patients and residents in a respectful and professional manner.
- Perform defined work routines using various dietary utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned by the Chefs/Kitchen Manager.
- Perform cleaning procedures and maintain a sanitary condition of the area and equipment.
