About The Position

Join Our Team at El Dorado Kitchen as Administrative Assistant - Culinary Department! This position requires bilingual fluency in English and Spanish to communicate effectively with kitchen and vendor teams. Prior F&B or hospitality experience is a plus, but what matters most is reliability, attention to detail, and comfort with the day-to-day systems of a busy kitchen (ordering, invoicing, scheduling, vendor coordination). This is a great fit for someone who wants to be part of a well-loved local establishment and take real ownership of the work that keeps a restaurant humming.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Two years in an administrative support role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with data entry and records management
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality industry experience
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software
  • Experience processing invoices and purchase orders

Responsibilities

  • Manage digital inventory systems and maintain the recipe database.
  • Coordinate staff schedules.
  • Process invoices and track expenses.
  • Create reports that transform mountains of data into actionable insights.
  • Help recruit culinary talent using HR platforms.
  • Coordinate onboarding and maintain employee records.
  • Track attendance and schedule training sessions.
  • Maintain all documentation in perfect order.
  • Maintain Health Department records.
  • Track certifications and licenses.
  • Document temperature logs and sanitation audits.
  • Process and file incident reports.
  • Serve as the primary admin contact for kitchen operations.
  • Coordinate between departments to keep information flowing.
  • Schedule and organize kitchen meetings.
  • Maintain communication boards and announcements.
