About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer a minimum of one-year experience in adult supervision.
  • Good attendance with punctuality
  • An understanding of a need for confidentiality
  • Pleasant personality and a willingness to work collaborative
  • Good grammar
  • Clean and neat appearance
  • Experience working with school-age students
  • An ability to work with children
  • An ability to work with a team of people
  • An ability to use independent judgment
  • An ability to follow written and verbal directions
  • Basic skills in the general use of technology
  • An ability to foster a cooperative work environment
  • Demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Effective verbal and written skills

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for collection of fees and forms from parents
  • Responsible for maintaining children’s files through MyClubHub
  • Assists with curriculum planning and staff schedules
  • Notifies Cub Care Director of needed supplies
  • Responsible for scheduling activities and events
  • Ensures program meets children’s needs
  • Ensures Boys & Girls Clubs policies are implemented
  • Follows all designated site requirements
  • Ensures positive, effective communication and cooperation with: building principal, all essential building staff, parents, students and Cub Care staff
  • Maintains accurate records on the program, staff, children and finances
  • Provides program agenda for the day, week, month
  • Deals with discipline issues not diffused by Cub Care Worker
  • Assumes additional related duties as requested by Cub Care Director
  • Submits monthly report to the Cub Care Director
  • Attend required staff meetings and trainings
  • Dress appropriately for school setting
