The Counter Unmanned Aerial Defense (C-UAS) portfolio is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Capacity Expansion Director who reports to the Sr. Director, C-UAS. This role can is based out of McKinney, TX This role offers an opportunity to support initiatives in capacity and growth, change management, transformation, and execution, while fostering innovation in programmatic execution. This is both a strategic and tactical position—it is a chance to inspire collaboration, spark creativity, and achieve excellence across a diverse network of stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, and customers. The selected leader will skillfully assist in leading program execution's complexities, ensuring milestones are achieved with precision and success. The CUAS Capacity Director will oversee all activities associated with the Capacity Expansion of the CUAS Portfolio. This position will need to develop a comprehensive capacity expansion plan leveraging the entire CUAS Portfolio Leadership team, in alignment with the vision of the CUAS Sr. Director. The role requires interconnectivity with the RTX government relations organization (GGR), DoW’s Acquisition & Sustainment (A&S), and Personnel & Readiness (P&R) directorates to explore workforce pilot programs for potential access to government funding. This role will also need to integrate the REL factory in the UAE as part of the capacity growth plan and be responsible for any future international landed company expansion initiatives.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 14 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 12 years of experience is required
  • PMX Level 3 or higher certified
  • Prior P&L experience across the entire program life cycle (proposals through sustainment)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive capacity expansion plan leveraging the entire CUAS Portfolio Leadership team, in alignment with the vision of the CUAS Sr. Director.
  • Explore workforce pilot programs for potential access to government funding through interconnectivity with the RTX government relations organization (GGR), DoW’s Acquisition & Sustainment (A&S), and Personnel & Readiness (P&R) directorates.
  • Integrate the REL factory in the UAE as part of the capacity growth plan and be responsible for any future international landed company expansion initiatives.
  • Develop and execute a rapid plan to increase capacity at the CUAS supply base.
  • Align priorities and provide clear direction; actively manage risk mitigation, cost savings, and schedule mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate and drive goal alignment activities, including critical participation in the annual strategic plan, flow down, catch ball, and control tower.
  • Travel to customer/supplier/DEAL team is anticipated to communicate the team's vision, and to facilitate execution of the vision.
  • Provide comprehensive research, analysis, and leadership for a variety of crucial initiatives to ensure flawless alignment with business objectives.
  • Multidisciplinary team leadership, internal and external program reviews, program execution assessments through direct customer engagement, proposal preparation, supplier management, and program management status reporting.
  • Direct the performance of program task elements such as engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, contracts, finance, and administrative functions in the execution of required gate reviews and financial activities as well as program execution.
