To support our ambition for growth and expansion, Anaplan is looking for an experienced CTO Advisor. The CTO Advisor will act as trusted advisor and executive advisor to our strategic accounts. As a CTO Advisor you build strategic, technical relationships with our strategic accounts focusing on the offices of the CIO and CTO. You help grow the Anaplan footprint by building their enterprise architectures around Anaplan. This is a unique opportunity for a thought leader with deep enterprise technology expertise, proven industry experience and relationships, and exceptional collaboration skills to shape the future of Anaplan.

Requirements

  • Analyze a company’s key use cases around cloud driven data, data management and integration technology
  • Advise CIOs on enterprise architectures and best practices around SaaS applications, data lakes, data management, PaaS, AI/ML/data science platforms
  • Translate top CIO priorities into commercial opportunities
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with IT Executives
  • Executive level communications in-person, on stage and in writing
  • Manage cross-functional teams and key stakeholders in a matrixed organization to achieve maximum results for the business and customers
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise data software technology
  • 5+ years at senior level (VP/Sr. Director)
  • Worked in the following roles: Senior IT leadership roles at a large enterprise in CPG, Retail, FSI, Manufacturing, Energy, Transportation
  • Senior field advisory roles at large tech companies like Microsoft, AWS, SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, Databricks, Snowflake
  • Senior consultant or practice lead at a big consultancy firm
  • Led high-impact digital transformation projects at enterprise scale
  • Held accountability to achieve key business goals i.e. revenue growth, TCO & ROI

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business by supporting our strategic accounts and large deals on technology and enterprise architectures
  • Build trusted relationships with key partners, customers and prospects through solution development and collaboration.
  • Represent Anaplan at industry events, in thought leadership opportunities, and through social media.
