About The Position

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Career Technical Education Teacher at The Dermott Juvenile Treatment Center (D.J.T.C) in Dermott, Arkansas. The Dermott Juvenile Treatment Center is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to helping at-risk young males (ages 18-21) build a brighter future. As the only program of its kind in Arkansas, it creates a structured environment that fosters self-discipline, self-respect, and motivation, empowering youth to grow into successful young adults. The center offers a comprehensive approach, including an on-site school, vocational training, library, clinical and medical services—everything necessary to help students develop both the academic skills and life skills they need for success. Requirements

Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
Have an active teacher's certification in Education
Be at least 21 years of age
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License
