About The Position

Great Lakes Energy is seeking an experienced lineworker or utility professional to join our team in Boyne City as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher & Safety Specialist. In this hybrid role, you'll split your time between the classroom and the field, making an impact in both environments. At Boyne City High School, you'll teach Energy Fundamentals, Lineworker, and Drone Technology courses, bringing real-world experience into the classroom and preparing students for careers in the energy industry. Through hands-on instruction and practical application, you'll help students build the skills and confidence to succeed. Outside the classroom, you'll support the Cooperative's safety culture by contributing to Loss Control initiatives. From promoting safe work practices and delivering training to helping identify and mitigate risks, your work will play a key role in protecting employees, infrastructure, and the communities we serve.
