Position Summary The CTE Career Support Coach works directly with CTE students in the Business & Technology division to develop strategies to enhance their career development goals and employability, and collaborates with faculty to identify and interact with CTE program- related employers. The CTE Career Coach is responsible for initiating and maintaining a system to gather and document employer-specific job readiness and student employment data, and process the data to provide program-specific information and supports to CTE students and programs. Reporting to the Dean of Business & Technology, the CTE Career Support Coach guides students through job-readiness preparation and disseminates employer-specific job information to other areas of the College. This includes connecting students to industry-specific services and resources to develop a personalized plan for their path to employment, as well as providing reports and information sessions for employees working in student recruitment and career services. This position is grant funded.
