The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher – Industrial Technology is responsible for delivering engaging, hands-on instruction in wood shop, metal fabrication, and basic automotive mechanics to high school students. This position develops and implements curriculum aligned with state CTE standards, emphasizes workplace safety and proper tool use, and integrates real-world skills such as blueprint reading, measurement, welding, small engine repair, and project construction. The teacher fosters a safe, structured learning environment, supports career readiness and industry certification opportunities, maintains shop equipment and inventory, and collaborates with staff and community partners to prepare students for post-secondary education, apprenticeships, and skilled trades careers.
