About The Position

Provide academic instruction for students who are deaf and hard of hearing in their primary mode of communication within a residential education setting.

Responsibilities

  • Work with school CTE staff to conduct a local needs assessment to determine what improvements are necessary and the strengths of the CTE program
  • Plan instructional activities
  • Prepare IEP’s
  • Submit an application and budget for annual CTE funds
  • Work with school CTE staff and Business Office to ensure CTE funds are spent appropriately
  • Work with Business Office to ensure all eligible reimbursements are entered into ERaCa by the deadlines
  • Work with school CTE staff to ensure CTE policies are implemented
  • Provide leadership regarding CTE pathways, NCCTE admin, local course options, and CTE grants
