About The Position

The CT Technologist works with Medical Imaging leadership and the department medical director to develop operating policies and procedures. The role performs diagnostic and interventional CT and X-ray exams and procedures within established guidelines, and serves as a role model and resource within the department. This position is based at Overlake’s new off-campus emergency department in Lynnwood, which provides 24/7 emergency-department-level care in a collaborative, fast-paced setting. The position is per diem with variable shifts.

Requirements

• AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program, or satisfactory completion of a formal military or hospital-based radiology technologist training program.
• ARRT(R) registry required upon hire.
• ARRT(CT) advanced registry required upon hire.
• Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) required upon hire, with biannual license renewal and evidence verified by primary source.
• Complete 24 CME credits every two years.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification required upon hire.
• Formal IV start training and annual competencies in IV starts, as applicable for the position.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience as a medical imaging technologist preferred.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• For a Lead position, at least six months of previous leadership experience preferred.
