CT Technologist - Part Time - Evenings
About The Position

The CT Technologist performs a variety of computerized tomographic procedures under the supervision of the Radiologist, utilizing knowledge of ionizing radiation and computer techniques. Our CT Tech demonstrates concern for patients and co-workers at all times. CT Technologist is one who successfully acquired certification in CT.
Requirements
- Graduate from school of Radiologic Technology approved by CAHEA/JRCT.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), CT certification preferred.
- CT board certification required within 12 months of hire.
- Verification of college transcript required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in CT or a related radiology position is preferred.
- Candidates with active ARRT certification are encouraged to apply, as UVM Medical Center offers on-the-job CT training.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of computerized tomographic procedures under the supervision of the Radiologist, utilizing knowledge of ionizing radiation and computer techniques.
- Demonstrates concern for patients and co-workers at all times.
- Successfully acquired certification in CT.
