About The Position

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing CT examinations in an emergency department setting. The role requires adherence to facility policies and procedures, including working every other weekend and holiday in rotation with hospital employees. This position is located in Charleston, SC, within a free-standing emergency room with 12 ED beds. The documentation system used is Meditech, and staffing includes 1 RAD/CT technologist per 12-hour shift.

Requirements

• ARRT(R)(CT)
• SCRQSA
• BLS
• Minimum of 1 year of general radiology and CT experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency department x-ray and CT examinations.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Adhere to facility policies and maintain equipment in accordance with safety standards.
