Entity Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) Worker Type Employee Worker Sub-Type PRN Cost Center CC001204 FLO - CT Scan (FMC) Pay Rate Type Hourly Pay Grade Health-28 Scheduled Weekly Hours 8 Work Shift Job Description Multi-modality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within two or more imaging modalities. Technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and be sure they are competent in the procedure being performed. Technologist must produce images for the interpretation, and or request of, a licensed practitioner. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • 1 year of Radiologic experience
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
  • Must obtain Advanced Modality registration within 1 year of hire date.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required

Responsibilities

  • Provides quality imaging and patient care within two or more imaging modalities.
  • Effectively explains procedures to the patient.
  • Ensures competence in the procedure being performed.
  • Produces images for interpretation and/or request of a licensed practitioner.
