Technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and be sure they are competent in the procedure being performed. Technologist must produce images for the interpretation, and or request of, a licensed practitioner. Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
1 year of Radiologic experience
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
Must obtain Advanced Modality registration within 1 year of hire date.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
