About The Position

McIver Clinic has been a trusted leader in urological care in Jacksonville since 1921. With multiple locations throughout the greater Jacksonville area and more than 27 providers, we deliver compassionate, patient-centered care across the full spectrum of urology, from minimally invasive procedures to complex surgery and oncology. We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and patient-centered CT Technologist to join our perioperative team in a busy office-based urology surgery center on a PRN basis.

Requirements

• Prior customer service experience in a healthcare setting
• Prior scheduling experience in a medical office setting
• Ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service with a patient-care focus
• Excellent communications skills, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Computer proficiency
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Medical Office: 1+ years (Required)
• Customer Service: 1+ years (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Computer Skills: 3+ years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Prepare and position patients for scanning, explaining the process to alleviate patient concerns
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
• Inspect and maintain imaging equipment
• Assist radiologists with image guided procedures
• Collaborate with radiology staff and other healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care
