About The Position
Reporting to the Manager, Imaging Services, Radiology Administration, this position is responsible for performing CT procedures, providing patient care and physician assistance during the performance of those procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology
- Valid California Radiology Tech (CRT) certification from the State of California
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R)
- Advanced ARRT certification in (CT)
- Proof of venipuncture certification
- Venipuncture competency must also be demonstrated and documented by the supervisor or his/her proxy within thirty (30) days of hire or transfer into position
- Recent experience in CT
- Ability to operate all CT equipment and perform all CT examinations independently (e.g., be able to protocol them or work in conjunction with the radiologist)
