About The Position

BJC HealthCare is hiring a PRN CT Technologist for Memorial Hospital Shiloh in Shiloh, Illinois. This advanced-modality position performs diagnostic imaging in at least one advanced imaging modality, specifically CT for this role, on adult and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis, treatment, and quality control. The Cat Scan Department uses current technology to provide computerized tomography imaging for inpatients and outpatients. The role may involve varied shifts and working as needed.

Requirements

Associate degree or trade school equivalent in a related field, or higher.
Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT; listed applicable credentials include RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, and RCES.
IEMA license for Illinois, excluding MRI roles.
No prior experience is required.
No supervisory experience is required.

Nice To Haves

Less than two years of experience.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification.
Intravenous Therapy certification.
RT(R) and CT credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
Perform diagnostic imaging studies independently, in on-call situations, during portable exams, and at other sites as required by the work area.
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures for diagnosis or treatment and quality control.
