About The Position

The CT Technologist performs CT examinations according to physicians’ orders using sophisticated CT equipment. The role accounts for each patient’s special or age-related needs and applies knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment to produce optimal images.

This position is at Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, Oregon. It is part-time on the night shift, working Friday from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. and Saturday–Sunday from 8:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is available to eligible external candidates who meet all payment conditions.

Requirements

• Education sufficient to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: Oregon Medical Imaging License from the Oregon State Board.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist—Radiography credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or National Registered Technologist—Nuclear Medicine Technology credential.
• Within one year of hire: National Registered Technologist—Computed Tomography credential, or National Computed Tomography Technologist—Nuclear Medicine Technology certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
