About The Position

We are seeking an ARRT registered CT/X-Ray Technologist to work overnight in our new freestanding Emergency Department in a joint venture with Atrium Health at the corner of Bruton Smith Blvd and Highway 29. Performs excellent patient care for all CT scans and x-rays. Quickly and accurately completes all paperwork to include orders, lab work and authorization confirmation. Monitoring the safety of patients pertaining to radiation and contrast dose.

Requirements

ARRT registry in CT and X-Ray
CT and X-ray experience
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
BLS
Must be up to date with local and federal regulations that apply to their licensure and role
Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift the appropriate weight determined by CR (50-75 lbs.)
Must have positive communication skills
Must be competent with IVs

Responsibilities

Performs excellent patient care for all CT scans and x-rays.
Quickly and accurately completes all paperwork to include orders, lab work and authorization confirmation.
Monitoring the safety of patients pertaining to radiation and contrast dose.
Performs basic patient care functions and informs the Radiologist or nurse of any change in the patient’s condition if needed.
