About The Position

Touchstone Medical Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, is seeking a motivated, patient-focused CT Technologist for its outpatient imaging center at Touchstone Imaging Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. This PRN position performs high-quality computed tomography procedures in a fast-paced outpatient environment, with emphasis on patient safety, comfort, accurate imaging, and an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Registry in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Current license from the state medical board, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Screen and position patients appropriately and ensure image quality.
• Administer contrast media according to physician orders and company policies.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain CT equipment and promptly report issues.
• Follow safety, infection control, and radiation safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas.
