CT Technologist, CT Department, Part-Time, Weekends, Baptist ED St. Augustine
About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist ED St. Augustine in St. Augustine, Florida. This is a Part-Time Weekends position working shifts of 6:30am-7:00pm. Participation in the on-call and holiday rotation is required. At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.
Requirements
- 1-2 Years Radiology Technologist Experience
- Customer Service Experience
- Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
- Must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date.
Nice To Haves
- Operating and calibrating of GE equipment
- Administering IV contrast & patient positioning
Responsibilities
- Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
- Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.
