Lead CT Technologist, CT Department, Baptist South
About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Full-Time CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at our Baptist South Location. This is a Full-Time Days position working Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. At Baptist, our Lead CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Vocational School
- Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
- Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography – ARRT (CT) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years Radiology Experience Preferred
- 3-5 years Experience working in a hospital setting Preferred
- Customer Service Experience Preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible for quality and quantity of procedures performed in CT
- Assists in staff training, performance and equipment evaluation, insures staff compliance with Employee Health and Mandatory Education requirements
- Responsible for maintaining ACR Accreditation
