About The Position

The CT Technologist uses computerized tomography scanners and other required equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients’ internal organs and tissues to help diagnose medical issues. The technologist follows physician orders, prepares equipment, positions patients, and accurately captures the requested diagnostic images. This PRN position is located at Haines City FSED, 36810 US-27, Haines City, Florida. The listed schedule is Sundays from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Radiography (RT) registration: ARRT-R.
• Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer qualification.
• Vocational school graduate.

Responsibilities

• Use computerized tomography scanners and other required equipment to produce cross-sectional diagnostic images.
• Follow physician orders.
• Prepare imaging equipment.
• Position patients for imaging.
• Accurately capture the requested diagnostic images.
