About The Position

A CT technologist works with Medical Imaging leadership and department medical director to develop operating policies and procedures. The person in this role is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional CT exams and procedures within these established guidelines. Serves as a role model and resource within the department. This is a Part Time / Days position with 0.9 FTE and 12-hour shifts. Requirements

• AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program or has satisfactorily completed a formal military or hospital-based radiology technologist training program.
• ARRT(R) registry required upon hire.
• ARRRT(CT) advanced registry required upon hire.
• Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) is required upon hire.
• Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification.
• Requires 24 CME credits every two years (Biennium).
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification required upon hire.
• Formal IV start training and annual competencies in IV starts as applicable for position.
• For CT Tech Non-Registered/Trainee: ARRT(R) registry required.
• For CT Tech Non-Registered/Trainee: Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) is required.
• For CT Tech Non-Registered/Trainee: Healthcare Provider CPR required.
• For CT Tech Non-Registered/Trainee: ARRT(CT) advanced registry required within 6 months of starting training program.
• For CT Tech Non-Registered/Trainee: Formal IV start training and annual competencies in IV starts as applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 1 year experience as a medical imaging technologist preferred.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• For Lead position, a minimum of six months previous leadership experience preferred.
