About The Position

A CT technologist works with Medical Imaging leadership and department medical director to develop operating policies and procedures. The person in this role is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional CT exams and procedures within these established guidelines. Requirements

  • CT Tech AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program required or has satisfactorily completed a formal military or hospital-based radiology technologist training program.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a medical imaging technologist preferred.
  • Previous hospital experience preferred.
  • ARRT(R) registry required upon hire.
  • ARRT(CT) advanced registry required upon hire.
  • Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) is required upon hire.
  • Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification.
  • Requires 24 CME credits every two years (Biennium).
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification required upon hire.
  • Formal IV start training and annual competencies in IV starts as applicable for position.
  • CT Tech Non-Registered/Trainee AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program required or has satisfactorily completed a formal military or hospital-based radiology technologist training program.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a medical imaging technologist preferred.
  • Previous hospital experience preferred.
  • ARRT(R) registry required.
  • Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) is required.
  • Healthcare Provider CPR required.
  • ARRT(CT) advanced registry required within 6 months of starting training program.
  • Formal IV start training and annual competencies in IV starts as applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • For Lead position, a minimum of six months previous leadership experience preferred.
