About The Position

UC Health is hiring a full-time Registered CT Technologist for the day shift at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center! We are offering a $15,000 service bonus! The CT Technologist is to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by producing diagnostic CT scans of various organs and structures of the human body. Operates with minimal supervision, uses independent judgment to determine quality of radiographs, and compliance with established protocols.

Requirements

Associate’s degree required
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current state license required
Completion of JRCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology or an Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Successfully completed and passed CT registry.
Must participate in continuing education activities in accordance to the ARRT guidelines.
Valid Ohio radiologic license.
Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association must be held.
Must complete at least 24 hours of direct credit continuing education every 2 years

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic CT procedures according to physician orders and safety protocols
Communicate clearly with patients and team members, ensuring a positive experience
Operate equipment with precision, maintaining proper exposure levels and techniques
Review images for quality and diagnostic acceptability
Prepare and administer contrast media under physician direction
Practice sterile techniques and assist with emergency procedures when needed
Participate in continuing education and development
