About The Position

Responsible for scanning various parts of the body as ordered by a physician. The CT Technologist position will perform a variety of technical procedures in Computerized Tomography and process scans while providing for the physical, medical, emotional and safety needs of patients.

Requirements

• Radiology license
• ARRT (CT) certification
• TN State license
• CPR certification
• Thorough knowledge of computer language and cross-sectional anatomy
• Knowledge in the proper use of PACS and RIS systems in accordance with set protocols and manufacturer recommendations

Nice To Haves

• Strong CT experience
• 2 years experience as a CT Technologist
• Efficient in post processing and 3D reconstruction
• Ability to work with a team approach toward providing quality of patient care
• Ability to respond to the needs of the department and the patient in a busy environment

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of technical procedures in Computerized Tomography.
• Process scans while providing for the physical, medical, emotional and safety needs of patients.
• Work with other technologists.
• Follow instructions given by physicians and supervisors.
