CT Technologists - Outpatient (South County CAM)
About The Position
BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time CT Technologist – Outpatient at South County Center for Advanced Med (CAM). This is an outpatient facility located at 5201 Mid-America Plaza, St. Louis MO. 63129. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures in Computed Tomography (CT) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. The Center for Advanced Medicine - South County is a new outpatient facility, jointly owned by Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital, scheduled to open in late spring 2016. This new facility will include outpatient surgery, imaging, lab, therapy, and Washington University physician subspecialty offices. Imaging services will include plain film, CT, MRI, and screening mammography.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in related field
- Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
- IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
- RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES
Nice To Haves
- CT Radiology Technologist – Certified (preferred)
- <2 years experience
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- Intravenous Therapy
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
- Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
- Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
