About The Position

The CT Technologist performs routine CT scans according to radiologist protocols and must be able to work independently without supervision. Candidates must provide proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical or religious exemption application before the contract start date. Flu vaccination may be administered during the employee health clearance appointment. Candidates must apply for a current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiographer upon accepting the offer and must hold the license by the start of the assignment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience.
• At least 2 years of work experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification.
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiographer by the start of the assignment; candidates must apply upon accepting the offer.
• Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical or religious exemption application before the contract start date.
• Proficiency in routine CT scans conducted according to radiologist protocols.
• Ability to function independently without supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Meditech EMR.
• Experience with Canon/Toshiba CT units.
• Experience with Vitrea workstation.
• Venipuncture skills.
• Experience performing MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging.
• Experience with biopsies or drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT scans according to radiologist protocols.
• Work independently without supervision.
• Provide holiday coverage.
