About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular unit, specializing in interventional cardiology, cardiac procedures, and vascular treatments. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures.
• Apply specialized skills for patients undergoing angiography, cardiac cath procedures, pacemaker insertions, and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) insertions.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring with a solid understanding of relevant radiology equipment and imaging processes.
• Maintain knowledge of Computerized Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine procedures.
