About The Position

The CT Technologist performs vital diagnostic imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient care. This role is executed under the direction of a Radiologist, following established departmental protocols.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited AMA program.
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in CT.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in the field.
• State licensure as a general radiographer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans of the head, brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities.
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, C-arm procedures, and operating room imaging services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning, including biopsy and drainage procedures.
• Handle imaging system processing and maintain knowledge of surgical and sterile procedures.
• Utilize contrast media as necessary while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of cross-sectional anatomy.
