About The Position
A dedicated CT Technologist is needed to perform high-quality imaging services within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in computed tomography and a strong commitment to patient care and safety. This position is located in the vibrant city of [City, State].
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience; 1st-time travelers may be considered.
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ARRT Certification
- Fluoroscopy certification through the state of California
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; must be a self-starter.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Level II Trauma setting preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates should be flexible to work holidays if needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, including Cerner EMR, Philips iPatient 64, and big bore 16.
- Work in collaboration with the Radiology team in various settings, including OR and ER.
- Participate in departmental orientation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
